Oracle of Consciousness
Journeys of the Soul
The Sixth Chakra
In terms of the human body, the sixth chakra, sometimes referred to as the Third Eye (Ajna) is located in between the eyebrows and back into the Pineal Gland.
It is associated with intuition, insight, and higher consciousness
As for the Earth, it gets a wee bit more complex.
Along with the other six Earth chakras, their exact locations are debatable and imprecise, based on various people's interpretation and whereabouts of the energy ley lines.
The Earth's Sixth Chakra is the only one that changes location, whereas the others remain static.
This diagram suggests that the sixth chakra is currently in Glastonbury, which is contrary to what others have stated.
Those 'others' have suggested Bali, Indonesia was once home to the Earth's sixth chakra and it may have since moved to Machu Picchu in the Peruvian Andes.
It really is not important to know exactly where it lies, suffice to say, it exists.
Before leaving Glastonbury Jake and Angelique quizzed a couple of well-versed, older travellers and learnt about the above information, which promptly threw a spanner in the works for their next destination.
"Do you know what Jake," Angelique starting a conversation on the topic, "I am inclined to forego galavanting around the planet looking for the Earth's sixth chakra, when what is more important and practical, is knowing how to fully activate our own."
"We could spend the rest of our lives searching for this holy grail of an energy centre." She quipped laughingly, "when we have one in the middle of our own head!"
Jake was surprised by the sudden turn around by Angelique, but it made perfect sense.
"After all, while I truly think we have quite a ways to go with this exploration, look at what we have already humbly experienced through our intuition and senses," he added.
"How could this have occurred had our third eyes been shut down?" he queried Angelique
"It couldn't," piped in Angelique, "so what if we stay in England a bit longer and further our development of our intuition and knowingness?"
Jake was all for that and gave a resounding "Yes!" as his reply.
The next leg of their adventurous life, involved a camper van and Jake's life-long dream to visit Devon and Cornwall, in the south-west of England.
The hiring of which was a breeze as Jake had a current British driver's licence and Angelique an International licence.
The plan was to take a leisurely drive, stopping for a swim weather permitting, overnighting and eating at charming cafes along the way.
Towards Land's End, the southern most tip of England, the coastline is simply stunning and wildly rugged.
Being self-contained, they could be in full control of where they wanted to go, what they chose to see, eat and where to park up to sleep.
On the way to Lands End, the pair stopped to explore a charming, tiny fishing village named 'Mousehole', pronounced by the locals as 'mowzul.'
That sunny afternoon with the gulls crying above they had their first taste of traditional Cornish pasties.
And followed by Devonshire tea - fresh scones, homemade strawberry jam and double clotted cream!
Needless to say they made little piggies of themselves!
Onto Lands End, where they parked the campervan, took in the scenery and setting sun.
It was a good day.
The following day they found a quiet cove and with their backs firmly against the weather-beaten rocks, commenced a deep meditation, whereby they were using their third eye to remotely visit their new-found friend, Dayeli, near Mt. Shasta.
Radically surrendering into the process and letting go any and all expectations, they focussed their attention on Dayeli.
What they both saw and concurred with each other later, was Dayeli was still up and about just before midnight, preparing food for a ceremony the following day.
It was a simple meal of beans, rice and spices, but what was notable, was she was wearing a traditional costume with brightly coloured threads and beads.
When Angelique and Jake had finished their meditation, they compared their experiences, only to hear that they had both 'witnessed' the same scenes!
Later that day they repeated the process, only this time, 'seeing' Angelique's parents picking lavender from their garden and being interrupted by a shower of rain.
That evening, they discussed their experiences with their open third eyes and set some firm guidelines as to how to proceed with full integrity and deeply respecting the 'target,' that which was being viewed.
On a quick call to her parents in France, Angelique enquired with "How was your day mum and what did you do?"
"Oh we were planning to be in the garden most of the day, but had to pack it in earlier as it started to rain, but not before picking some lovely fragrant lavender."
"When are you coming home darling, we miss you," she enquired.
"Very soon mum, I miss you too, I have so much to share with you." said Angelique
"Oh great," replied her mum, "then I shall put some of the lavender in your room for you."
Never underestimate the power of your third eye!
As their 'Chakra Journey' drew to an end, Jake and Angelique decided to go their own ways temporally, so they could visit and spend quality time with their families, distraction free.
For Angelique it had been well over a year away, but she had kept in touch with her parents whenever possible.
For Jake, he had not seen or heard from his family, or made any effort to contact them for much longer, but now, with a completely different, more mature and conscious perspective, he was keen to reconcile any differences, if they were willing.
Back in London, Jake dropped off Angelique at St.Pancras station to catch the Eurostar train to Paris.
There were lots of false starts where Angelique came back for more hugs and kisses, with Jake not complaining one iota!
