Oracle of Consciousness

#73 - Stop!
Just STOP!

STOP!

Does your life sometimes feel like this?

"If you will STOP all searching right now and tell the truth to yourself, you will know what is known in the core of your bones.

You will know it with no image of it, no concept of it, no thought of it.

You will know it as that which has eternally been here.

And you will know it as yourself."

We busy ourselves doing stuff.
Working
Shopping
Driving
Going somewhere
Yada, Yada, Yada!

Of course, in order to function effectively in our lives, there are chores, commitments, activities, work to be done and a myriad of things that need to be fulfilled.

So we are not advocating packing up, leaving your current life behind and sitting in a remote cave in the Himalayas.

Although, don't think I haven't considered this option and got close to it in northern India many years ago!

What is being proposed here, is allocated some of your time to just stop.

And then, stop trying to stop!!

All the peace, harmony, love, gratitude, passion, purpose, in fact everything your heart desires, lies within you, if you would just stop and look inwards.

Stillness

Silent Awareness

Rather than Doing something, just Be.

Observing your inner landscape

Be aware of your thoughts

Be the silent witness to your thoughts as they arise, notice how they stay a while and then disappear.
No need to question, dive into or attach to them.
Just let them be

Be aware of your feelings

Observe and feel what is arising within you, without judgement, or dialogue.
Breathe into these feelings and let them go.
You can explore them later if you so desire.

Just
STOP

Stop any and all effort or desire to change whatever is transpiring.
Breath a little slower and deeper than usual.
Be with what is there, whether it is uncomfortable or a profound connection to What Is.

Be aware of your Awareness

Just BE aware of your breath, your body, your five senses and without trying to make something happen, or to experience any phenomena. Be present and mindful in this moment and the next and the...
Be here , now!

Be conscious of your own Consciousness.
It was always there and will never cease to exist, for it is who you are at the core.

Be that Consciousness.

Where attention goes, energy flows.

Put your attention on the consciousness that animates your body and let go all expectations

Just STOP and permit all that arises to do so.

Feel that Interconnectedness
