#34 - Stable Datums

What is a Stable Datum?

A Stable Datum is a reference point and an example would be: time is measured at a particular place, it's called Greenwich in England.

It has for years been called Greenwich Mean Time.

It's now entitled Universally Coordinated Time or UTC.

It is a stable place from which all time is measured.

Another stable datum is sea level.

We measure the height of all land and mountains, from mean sea level.

Mount Everest's peak is the highest altitude above mean sea level at 29,029 feet [8,848 meters]

Alternatively, sea level is also used as the Stable Datum for measuring the depths of oceans and seas.

Those two elements are primary examples of stable datums.

However, it should be noted that they can be renamed, as in the case of Greenwich Mean Time to Universal Coordinated Time.

What is meant by 'mean' sea level is the measurement of the average sea level recorded via satellites and other measuring instruments.

Lake Titicaca is the highest body of water above mean sea level, but we're not measuring from that lake.

And the Dead Sea is the lowest body of water from mean sea level, so we're not measuring from that sea either.

However, what we are witnessing now in these tumultuous times of change as the human awakening unfolds, elements which have been the stable ways of experiencing and doing things for many, many years, are now being disrupted and dismantled.

We only have to look at the world around us, to witness the confusion, conflict and deconstruction of many foundations that in the past, have been stable, reference points for us.

In our own lives, we're seeing how this instability, shift, and breaking down within our physical, emotional, mental and our spiritual bodies, is having an impact.

One could say we are
on very shaky ground!

What a journey this is and has to be, to make way for the new.

Crisis is the driver of change!

It's rather like demolishing an old, condemned building in the middle of the city, which is no longer habitable.

In order to construct a new building, we have to demolish the old.

This is the process we're going through at the moment on a personal and collective level and it can be extremely uncomfortable from time-to-time, as you may be experiencing.

Fluctuations

Our Physical Body

So many of us are experiencing discomfort in the body, some minor or major sickness, or pain and this is the body readjusting to the new energy frequencies.

It's even been said that we're moving from being carbon-based bodies to crystalline-based.

Our Earth

The Earth is supporting this transition. As the Earth is changing her denser frequencies into higher frequencies, we are being carried along.

We're almost being forced to raise our vibrational frequency in coherent
alignment with the Earth.

Our Emotions

Where we may have had a stable emotional tone on the scale of emotions, it could be now we are fluctuating.

We're experiencing high and low emotions such as irritability to happiness and everything in between!

Our Thoughts

Remembering that our thoughts are not our thoughts, our mind is not our mind, we are sharing the collective mind of humanity.

So with such a dramatic changes going on and all the insecurity that accompanies these changes, the unknowingness, the collective mind may be filled with fear and
a lack of optimism.

Our Spiritual Body

Our spiritual body is being transformed
into a lighter body.

We're going through this extraordinary, unprecedented change and we have
to weather it.

Our Stable Datum

Question:

What is the one thing we can always come back to that we can dwell in, which is not affected by all these fluctuations
and changes?

The answer is, who you are at the core.

A beautiful loving, compassionate, kind, infinite being, who has chosen to
incarnate and animate this body, to co-create in the great wheel of life.

When we put our attention on this, it becomes our stable datum.

Did you know in Japan, the Zen Buddhists have these beautiful stone gardens with raked pebbles and they sit for hours in contemplation of a single rock, just looking at this solitary rock and that brings them to the Singularity.

It quietens the mind, everything else drops away and there becomes just one focus.

We can do the same, we can focus on our true identity, who we are at the core.

Sovereign Integral

(Self) (Whole)
(I AM) (WE ARE)

The route to that is through the heart, moving out of your head, putting your attention on the centre of your chest and feeling deeply there.

For this is the portal to the infinite.

This is the home of the soul.

Use this stable datum to ride these tumultuous changes.

Our world needs what
you have to offer!
