Surrender and Integration

Acceptance is the action of consenting to receive something or someone.

Any and all acceptance is a great step along our journey because the opposite of acceptance, is resistance.

We don't want this in our lives, we don't want to be with this person, this job, this activity, we don't want these circumstances or this situation.

Resist, resist, resist!!

When we radically accept these scenarios and let in the reality that is unfolding underneath our nose, in our world, our life, then we're not offering a resistance to it.

And it is resistance that causes, the inner and outer conflict.

If you push your hands together, in a prayer-like or Namaste-like fashion and push hard, you can sense a resistance, two opposing forces coming together.

We should be aware in our daily life, and ask,

"What am I resisting"?

"Am I resisting these thoughts, my emotions I'm feeling, this pain, suffering, the history of mine, and my ‘what if’ future?"

So, we are accepting What IS, while refusing to condone any behaviours that are destructive or harmful.

There has to be a clear distinction between accepting the reality and then condoning and saying,

“Oh, this is okay.
It's all right.
They're just being human.”

We don't and won't allow damaging and/or destructive behaviours, however, if we feel strongly enough to do something about it, we can step into non-violent action.

We certainly are not pushing up against it, as a violent, opposing force, we're doing something of value, to try to correct the behaviours.

Acceptance is a big thing!

Can we honestly accept ourselves just the way we are physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually?

This is the first step to
self-love.

We have to accept that while we may have admirable qualities, great looks, and uplifting thoughts, we may also have the opposite.

'Good' and 'bad', 'great' and 'not-so-great' are judgments.

If you stand in front of the mirror and observe, often we will immediately judge our looks, the mind will focus on what we don't like.

If we can just stand there and accept:

"This is who I am, this is my body.
These are my thoughts.
These are my emotions, this is my life story, my history.
These are my skills".

If we can just fall into acceptance of all of these so-called ‘negatives’ and the ‘positives’, now we're free from the inner conflict that drives our behaviours.

It's not an easy task.

We've been trained by others and we've trained ourselves magnificently to reject and dislike this or that, so the first step is to accept who we are, unequivocally.

Where does self-love and acceptance come from?

It comes from your heart.

Every one of us has got a heart, so let us utilise it fully.

So, when we become more heart-centred, moving from our head to our heart, from our thoughts to our feelings in our heart, that is the key to acceptance, that is appreciating what we have.

Understanding, being compassionate towards ourselves, being forgiving to ourselves, being humble, brave and courageous in accepting who we are.

Radial Surrender

And I mean radical, diving deeply, and ceasing all resistance to what is unfolding.

You see, we must (it is preferable) learn to accept the reality of our world.

After all we created it, we create our own reality through our thoughts and our actions.

The reality of our world at the moment is: it is in crisis and crisis is the driver of change.

Although we may feel the unpleasantness of it, the disagreement with it, the injustices, we still have to accept that these things are going on, because this is the current reality. The good news is we are empowered with the ability to change this reality.

The collective consciousness or unconsciousness, the collective thinking, negative or positive, has created the reality we are experiencing today.

We truly acknowledge this and then surrender into it, instead of resisting, fighting it, protesting inside, just seeing it for what it is.

Now we have opened the doors to endless possibilities of change.

How could we bring about change?

What could I personally do?

How could I transform myself?

How could I become more conscious, more loving, more heart-centred, more of service?

These are the doors that swing open, when we accept and surrender into the current reality, and our journey is to create a new one.

The old reality?

Yes, much of it is redundant now, as you would no doubt agree.

However, what does work for all of humanity, all species and the Earth can be brought with us over the bridge to the new paradigm - the new human reality.

So, let's together create a beautiful, sustainable, renewable, regenerating reality, that serves all.

We can call it the new human reality.

Integration

To become whole and complete as human beings, we need to integrate acceptance and surrender into our lives with no resistance.

As we do this, we de-stress ourselves by taking away the conflict of resistance. Now we're more open, more receptive to doing something about those elements.

This is the final step, as it opens the door to other possibilities and the potential for something different to be birthed.

Don't forget, we live in an extraordinary, expansive, unified field of potential, just waiting for us to dip our hands in, bring out and manifest something into our world.

In the integration, we must allow that which is flowing through, from and to us, to be combined with our whole-body system, our physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies.

The integration of our wisdom, our moments of clarity, thoughts that are uplifting, and our higher emotions, there should be no rejection of those, we allow them to flow into us and integrate those into our body too.

It's one moment to have an epiphany, and another to integrate that into our life and to use this as a platform to become more conscious, for becoming more heart-centred.

So, don't neglect these beautiful moments of clarity and sharpness, stillness, silence, and expansiveness, integrate these into your life.

"How can I use this experience to improve my life, improve the lives of others, and improve the life of our human family?"

This is the integration process

We need to be pretty still and quiet to allow this to happen.

If we're distracted, busying ourselves, like dogs chasing their tails, this integration process will be interrupted.

Look into your life and every moment you have clarity, a thought that resonates, an idea that is trying to birth itself, some creative impulse, then allow that to be integrated into your being.

This is the road to wholeness.

This is the path to becoming a whole complete human being.

It is 'the road less traveled', but a worthwhile journey none-the-less!

But keep this in mind - it's just a game, so keep it light and child-like.
