Oracle of Consciousness

The Earths 5th (Throat Chakra) is located in Egypt and more precisely, the Pyramids of Giza.

Egypt's history had always fascinated Angelique and hence her excitement about visiting the pyramids, the river Nile and the famous museum.

Jake didn't share the same level of enthusiasm, as history was one of his most disliked subjects at school, along with having to go to school, which was bad enough in his eyes!

None-the-less, they both shared the same keenness about discovering what the Earth's fifth chakra had in store for them, especially with the 'gifts' the previous two energy centres had recently bestowed upon them.

As usual, they had been reading up on Egypt before their arrival in Cairo, a bustling city with a population in the Greater Cairo metropolitan area, estimated to be over 22 million people.

The adventurous pair had been discussing what they knew about Egypt and the pyramids on the flight from Australia, with Jake reading out what he had learnt on wikipedia:

Great Pyramid of Giza

making it approximately 4,565 years old.

The Great Pyramid was built by quarrying an estimated 2.3 million large blocks, weighing 6 million tonnes in total. The majority of the stones are not uniform in size or shape, and are only roughly dressed. The outside layers were bound together by mortar. Primarily local limestone from the Giza Plateau was used for its construction. Other blocks were imported by boat on the Nile: white limestone from Tura for the casing, and blocks of granite from Aswan, weighing up to 80 tonnes, for the "King's Chamber" structure.

Sitting next to them on the plane was a young man who appeared very interested in their conversation, smiling broadly at them from time to time.

He introduced himself as Ahmed and he was returning to Cairo after completing his university studies in Sydney, Australia.

He had a 'knowing' look about him as the pair discussed their findings and as they approached Cairo, he leant closer and said quietly, "Don't believe everything you read or hear about the pyramids and Egypt's history!"

Angelique nodded approvingly, but Jake was visibly shaken, like someone had unkindly taken his favourite toy from him as a kid.

They de-planed and stood together at the luggage carousel, with his suitcase arriving first, which was swiftly retrieved and Ahmed's parting gesture was:

"Enjoy your experience with Giza, your friend in Tibet has taught you well!"

And off he went, never to be seen again, leaving the young couple, mouths still open and speechless.

"Aw, come on! Jake blurted out "We never even talked about Tibet to him, not once!"

"The universe works in many strange ways my darling," quipped Angelique as she retrieved her rucksack from the carousel.

And that was their welcome to Egypt!

During one of their later visits to Giza at sunset, a middle-aged man uninvitedly plonked himself beside the couple.

Jake imagined he was about to be persuaded or coerced into buying some trinkets, transport or touristy gifts to take home and as they had experienced previously, the vendors can be very convincing and smilingly persistent!

But no, Khaled, whose name means 'immortal and eternal,' had no such intention.

Instead, he politely enquired, "Have you found what you are looking for in Egypt?"

"Yes," Jake quickly replied, "We came to see The Great Pyramid of Giza, one of the major energy points in the world."

"Oh yes," replied Khaled respectfully, "but what are you really here for?"

Both Jake and Angelique were surprised and a little perplexed at this question and queried Khaled, "What do you mean?"

He looked them at them directly, holding his gaze and said in a fatherly way: You have read much about our history from multiple sources, you have felt the power of Giza, you must have questioned yourselves how the pyramids were built with the enormous weight of the stones, fine tolerances, the star shafts alignment with Orion's Belt and built for what purpose, yes?"

"Yes" they replied in unison.

Then did you find some anomalies between what is being said and written about these magnificent structures, and what you felt? he queried.

Angelique was the first to respond and excitedly too, because inside her, was a voice that kept urging her to:

"Trust your intuition and heart."

"Now we are getting somewhere," Khaled smiled.

"What else are you to learn from this adventure?" he asked

This time Jake piped up and said: "Ahhh now I get it! We are not here to have some esoteric , other-dimensional experience, we are here to hone our critical thinking, to question everything and to park any cognitive dissonance!"

Directed at Jake, Khaled positively replied: "Yes, young man, precisely, and equipped with that capacity you could ponder whether they were energy generators, built well before four and half thousand years ago, possibly by off-planet technology, and ponder their co-relationship with other pyramids around the world, and many more questions.

"Oh oh," gasped Jake,"this totally suits my conspiratorial theory thinking!

To which all three let out a deafening belly laugh loud enough to wake the nearest mummy from her eons of peaceful slumber!

That evening, dining on 'ful medames' the traditional beans and cumin dish of Egypt, Jake and Angelique discussed what were their take-aways from this remarkable experiences with Giza and Egypt.

"Aside from a deep connection to the actual Pyramid of Giza and with Khaled's prompting , trusting my heart and intuition is my biggie," Angelique glowingly replied, "and yours Jake?"

"Well as he suggested, said Jake, utilising my critical thinking, turning off any cognitive dissonance, doing my homework and not believing everything I read and hear."

"I also need to become more my own guide, trust my judgement and regularly update my perspective," he added.

"I concur with those Jake, said Angelique and would include, further building upon the consciousness we have already uncovered, while staying centred and grounded."

They finished their meal and on the walk back to their hotel, Angelique posed the question "Is it time for us to move on dear Jake?"

"It does feel like it Angel." he replied, "But lets's not rush off as we need to integrate all that has transpired here."

"And so be it, another chakra done and dusted, now onto the next!" added Angelique with a grin.
