# 43 - Imagination

Imagination:

Imagination is the ability to conceptualise, get a concept, or an idea about something that doesn't yet exist.

It may be postulating something as it 'appears' in the future.

It can be anything we can think up, dream up, visualise and conceptualise, anything that we like.

Imagination comes from the right hemisphere of the brain, unlike the left hemisphere, which is all about logic, analysis, language and thought.

Interestingly enough and not as a judgment, the left hemisphere is more the masculine side and the right hemisphere is more the feminine side.

So is it any wonder that generally we experience men having larger egos than women, and of course it can be the other way around.

What we can achieve, is limited only by our imagination

It's really important for us to stimulate our imagination but unfortunately, much of that has been knocked out by our current modern education, where the left hemisphere has been beautifully educated with maths, logic and linear thinking, at the expense of the holistic arts and creativity.

When we were children we could create and imagine all sorts of wonderful things.

As we get older we tend to favour the left hemisphere more, because we can make some sense out of it, extracting some science or logic to navigate our lives.

But this comes at the expense of the right hemisphere, which gives us an intuitive hit, those moments of clarity, certainty and knowingness.

It gives us an ability to imagine a better future for ourselves, others and all species, including the Earth.

Let's balance our thinking out.

We don't want to go all the way to the right hemisphere at the expense of the left, because we'll never make any sense out of anything.

But a balance of left and right hemisphere, a balance of masculine and feminine, through that harmony, we will be able to visualise and bring about what we want in our lives.

If it's our thinking that creates our reality.

The reality that we're experiencing now, our outer world and the collective human experience has its roots steeped in the quality of our thoughts.

We have within us the capacity to shift our balance to imagining a much better world for ourselves and others, a much more peaceful, loving world, and primarily, a more conscious world.

Imagine that!

Imagine living in a world of evolved beings who live in peace and harmony working together in collaboration and cooperation.
