What does it mean to live a heart-felt or heart-centred life?
Well, there are six heart virtues or values, exceptionally defined by James Mahu in his extraordinary body of work.
When we live in and from our heart virtues, embodying them completely, then we move closer and closer to who we are at the true core of our existence, for our heart is the portal to consciousness.
The first heart virtue is APPRECIATION and I know many of you have been practicing, being grateful and appreciative in your lives.
It would be wise for us to further ponder upon what we appreciate about, what we have, our food, clothing, shelter, our transport, our life, possessions, experiences, etc.
In fact we can be grateful and appreciative of,
* Everything
* Everyone
* Every situation and
* Every circumstance in our lives!
Afterall, you created the reality you are experiencing now!

To really be genuinely and sincerely grateful, means to be thankful and appreciative of what we had in the past, what we have now, and what we wish to manifest in our future.
This gratitude and appreciation action will bring about more peace and abundance in your life.
So, as a humble suggestion, make an effort in the morning, perhaps first thing when you wake up and say out aloud or silently:
"I'm grateful for another opportunity to create a better version of myself, and a better world around me".
"I'm grateful for the people in my life, my friends, my associates, my work colleagues, and mostly, I'm ever so grateful for the gift of life".
And at the end of your day, recount what transpired that you are appreciative about.
The simplicity and effectiveness of this process is astonishing!
One doesn't have to look very far to see so many people in our beautiful world that are suffering from a lack of food, clothing, shelter, and transport, as their basic survival needs are not being met.
If you're reading this, you are certainly amongst the more privileged on our planet.
Make a list, a mental or written list of what you appreciate, or are grateful in your life.
Whenever you're feeling a little bit down or challenged, write out what you appreciate about this situation, this person, or what is possible to be gained from this experience, because we may not always be able to see the immediate solution to it.
But be grateful and appreciative that this challenge has come to you as an opportunity, which ultimately you have drawn to yourself, in order to be more aware, more powerful, stronger and more conscious.
